Location and Accommodation
Matiatia is in the Byron Bay Hinterland, locality of Dorroughby, closest town Dunoon (of the tornado fame…).
Matiatia is about 30 minutes from Bangalow, 50 minutes from beaches (Lennox., Ballina, Broken Head, Byron, King’s, Whites) and Byron Bay, 15 minutes from the Channon, 30 minutes from Nimbin and 15-20 minutes to Lismore.
Whian Whian Falls is just 5 minutes down the road. A fave picnic and swimming spot during the holidays. We can often find a waterhole that isn’t teeming with holidaymakers and just loll around keeping up our fluids…
Most of you will be camping, unless inside spaces are available, or beds are shared in the spirit of free love!

Just bring sleeping essentials, as you are welcome to use the farmhouse kitchen, living areas and bathrooms.
Bathrooms (bar toilet) are outside – a shower and a bath. Pissing outside is encouraged. There is also an inside shower/bath so we should have plenty of bathroom access to cater for everyone.

There is internet access for those that need it, so bring your laptops.
There is plenty of parking, but let me know if you are bringing a vehicle, just so we know how to arrange that.
